In the late afternoon when it was nice and warm I decided to take a quick look in our robin’s nest. This time I got the BIG ladder, our massive 12 foot job, and was able to get high enough to peer down in. Boy was she angry! She, and then her mate gave me a terrific scolding as I parted the leaves to take a shot of their three brilliantly blue eggs. I got out quickly and they returned immediately to reclaim the family jewels!
